PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:

                In Machine Tool Division, the company produces three ranges of products:

2.      VERTICAL MACHINING CENTRE

3.      HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTRE

 

     There are also various range of products in each of the above mentioned category based on classifications like capacity, speed, feed rate etc.

      The different types of machines produced under each category have their own advantages and disadvantages like cost advantage, suit for different sizes of work-pieces etc. So the specifications can give some idea about the suitability of the machines for a particular work-piece. Now we look at the specification of each machine and its advantages.

CONCLUSION:

 

     The training which I undertook in the LMW and SIMTA, eventually ended as a successful industrial training for me. I came across various instruments, methods and terms used in the modern foundry and manufacturing processes and it helped me to understand the manufacturing sciences easily.
